Darren Shorney Dip.NLP ; MLnstLM has over 5 years professional experience of working within the certification sector with Lead Auditor experience specialising in Quality Management, Health & Safety and Environmental Management.

Head of Technical

Over a career spanning 35 years Darren started his career within the Hospitality sector where he completed the Trust House Forty Graduate program which led to career that saw him specialise in food and beverage and finally General Manager of 2 five-star hotels before moving in Training and Development for InterContinental Hotel Group.

Darren acquired the qualifications which allowed him to then move into ta role as Group Organisational Development Manager for Facilities Management Company where he had various position of which one was HO compliance where he implemented ISO 9001 (Quality); ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety), now ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) for the Health Care Division. After 12 years working with L&D and more latterly Compliance with FM sector Darren moved to Help for Heros where he specialised in placing the wounded, injured and sick into employment.

He is now part of the Senior Management team at ISOQAR and heads up our Technical and Compliance department as Head of Technical and manages our accreditation and relationship with UKAS.
